About Me
I have spent over 16 years teaching across a diverse range of schools in both the state and independent sectors, developing a deep understanding of how to support young people from all backgrounds.
I hold a degree in Politics and International Studies from the University of Warwick and a PGCE in Social Science from Keele University. I will shortly be undertaking an MSc in Psychology at the University of Wolverhampton to further strengthen my expertise in the field.
I currently serve as Head of Social Science within a successful Multi-Academy Trust, working in an area of high deprivation with a strong focus on oracy, equity, and student empowerment.
Over the course of my career, I have held three middle leadership roles spanning both academic and pastoral domains, enabling me to lead with insight, compassion, and strategic clarity.
My commitment to education also extends beyond the classroom. I am a governor at a thriving faith school in Northampton, where I contribute to the strategic direction and ongoing improvement of the school community.
Alongside my leadership work, I host a Teachers Talk Radio show exploring teaching, learning, and culture. I have been fortunate to attend and organise education conferences, learning from a wide range of experienced and inspiring voices across the sector.
